Policy Advocacy to Build Health Equity: It’s up to us!

This workshop is for public health professionals, community advocates, and anyone interested in learning more about the role of policy and advocacy to address health disparities. Sessions will focus on:
- Advocating for Health Equity: Strategies to influence policy and address disparities
- Policy, Systems, & Environmental Change
- Writing Policy Briefs
- Communicating with your Policy Maker: Writing, calling, visiting your legislators
Certified Health Education Specialists may apply for NCHEC Category I credits (application pending). There is no cost to attend the seminar. NCHEC fees will apply for those requesting CHES credits.
