Nursing Students Present Work in San Antonio
Four graduates of the Master of Science in Nursing recently presented at the 7th annual Summer Institute on Evidence Based Practice: Innovation for Quality and Safety in San Antonio.
The students and their poster presentations were:
Maria Marquez; Economics vs. Patient Acuity? Which Provides Better Patient Outcomes?
Rebekah Powers; Acute Care Setting: Facilitators to Promote Evidence Based Practice
Christina Ramdeo; Maintaining Normothermia in Surgical Patients
Ella Hendrix; Faculty Facilitators for Use of Simulation Technology

The students were joined by Kris Robinson, Ph.D., and Diane Monsivais for the School of Nursing Nurse Clinician Educator program.
"This conference provided a wonderful opportunity for our graduates to network with other health care providers from all over the world; and for them to realize that their MSN from UTEP, positions them among the best and most innovative of practitioners anywhere they choose to practice," Monsivais said.
