The goal of this post-baccalaureate certificate program is to facilitate the continued development of quality nurse educators in various settings. Participants will acquire a broader understanding and will practice skills related to curriculum development and evaluation, instructional design, best practices for teaching, and assessment of learning. Through the online series, participants will use a variety of instructional technologies; thereby learning by doing.

- Undergraduate degree from an accredited college or university in the United States or equivalent education at a foreign institution
- Admission to the graduate school as a certificate student and approval of the Assistant Dean for Graduate Education in the School of Nursing.
Grade Requirement: Students must earn a “B” or better in each of the 3 courses in order to earn the Graduate Certificate. Single courses may be taken for elective credit; however, the certificate will be granted only on completion of the 9 hour sequence.
